Mazda 3 Service Manual: Side Turn Light Removal/Installation
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable..
2. Remove the outer mirror glass..
3. Remove the outer mirror garnish..
4. Remove the screw.
5. Disconnect the connector.
6. Remove the side turn light while detaching tab.
CAUTION:
-
If the tabs of the side turn light are detached, the side turn light may fall off and be damaged. When detaching the tabs of the side turn light, hold the side turn light with a hand during the servicing.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Vanity Mirror Illumination Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable..
2. Remove the sunvisor..
3. Verify that the continuity between the vanity mirror illumination terminals
is as indicated in the table.

3. Disconnect the connector.
4. Rotate the socket in the direction of the arrow as shown in the figure to
remove it.

Please verify which kinds of air bags are equipped on your vehicle by locating

“SRS AIRBAG” location indicators. These indicators are visible in the area where
