Mazda 3 Service Manual / Steering / Steering Switch Removal/Installation

WARNING:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more

..

2. Remove the driver-side air bag module..

3. Remove the steering wheel..

4. Remove the screw.


5. Remove the wiring harness from the cover hook.


6. Remove the cover tabs and pins from the steering wheel.



7. Remove the cover.

8. Disconnect the connector.


9. Remove the screw.

10. Remove the steering switch pins from the steering wheel.


11. Remove the steering switch.

12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
