Mazda 3 Service Manual: Door Lock Switch Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable..
2. Remove the inner garnish..
3. Remove the front door trim..
4. Remove the front inner handle..
5. Inspect for continuity between the door lock switch terminals using an ohmmeter.

If not as indicated in the table, replace the door lock switch.

DSC HU/CM Inspection
1. Disconnect the DSC HU/CM connector..
2. Connect the negative battery cable..
3. Attach the tester lead to the DSC HU/CM wiring harness-side connector and
inspect voltage, continuity, or resistance according to the standard (reference)
on the table.
