Subaru Solterra 2023-2026 Owner's Manual: Electronic sunshade

In the Subaru Solterra, the electronic sunshade is conveniently operated using the overhead control switches, allowing you to regulate sunlight and cabin brightness with ease and precision.

Operating the electronic sunshade

  1. Open*

*: To stop the electronic sunshade at any intermediate position in the Subaru Solterra, lightly press either side of the control switch during operation.

If the electronic sunshade in the Subaru Solterra does not function correctly, perform the following initialization procedure to restore proper operation:

1. Turn the power switch to ON.

2. Press and hold the "CLOSE" side of the switch continuously.

The sunshade will move toward the nearly closed position, pause, then automatically reverse direction before closing completely.

If the switch is released prematurely, the initialization process must be restarted from the beginning.

If automatic operation still does not function correctly after completing these steps, it is recommended to have the Subaru Solterra inspected by an authorized SUBARU dealer.
