In the Subaru Solterra, the My Settings function enables personalized driver recognition using various authentication devices, automatically restoring individual driving preferences and vehicle configurations upon entry.
By linking a specific device—such as an electronic key—to a registered driver, the Subaru Solterra can instantly apply stored seat positions, mirror adjustments, and system settings, creating a seamless and tailored driving experience every time.
The My Settings feature in the Subaru Solterra supports up to three individual driver profiles, allowing multiple users to enjoy their own customized environment without manual adjustments.
For detailed procedures including assigning or deleting electronic keys, registering driver names, performing system initialization, manually switching drivers, or removing driver profiles, refer to the "MULTIMEDIA OWNER'S MANUAL".
Types of assigned authentication devices
The Subaru Solterra identifies individual drivers using one or more of the following authentication methods:
The Subaru Solterra recognizes the driver automatically when the smart key system detects the assigned electronic key within range.
Using the integrated driver monitoring system, the Subaru Solterra can identify the driver by analyzing facial features detected by the in-cabin camera.
The Subaru Solterra can also recognize a driver when the same Bluetooth device previously connected as a hands-free phone is detected and linked to the multimedia system.
For instructions on connecting Bluetooth devices to the Subaru Solterra, consult the "MULTIMEDIA OWNER'S MANUAL".
If identification is successfully completed via the electronic key, the Subaru Solterra will prioritize this method and skip Bluetooth-based recognition.
Recalled functions
Once the Subaru Solterra identifies a driver through an authentication device, it automatically restores previously saved settings, ensuring immediate comfort and familiarity.
After identification, the Subaru Solterra recalls the last used driving position when the door is unlocked and opened using the smart key system or wireless remote control.
The Subaru Solterra restores display layouts and multimedia preferences that were active when the vehicle was last turned off.
All compatible vehicle configuration settings in the Subaru Solterra are restored to the previously stored state.
The Subaru Solterra also recalls driver assistance system preferences, maintaining continuity in safety features and driving behavior settings.
*: Some settings may not be included depending on system configuration.
