Subaru Solterra 2023-2026 Owner's Manual: Emergency flashers
The emergency flashers in the Subaru Solterra are designed to alert surrounding drivers when the vehicle must be stopped unexpectedly due to a breakdown, hazard, or other urgent situation.
Operating instructions
Press the emergency flasher switch located in the Subaru Solterra cabin.
All turn signal lights will begin flashing simultaneously to clearly indicate a hazard condition.
To deactivate the emergency flashers, press the switch once more.
■ Emergency flashers
- If the emergency flashers are operated for an extended period while the Subaru Solterra EV system is not in READY mode, the 12-volt battery may gradually discharge.
- In the event of SRS airbag deployment or a significant rear collision, the
Subaru Solterra emergency flashers may activate automatically.
These hazard lights will automatically switch off after approximately 20 minutes. If necessary, they can be manually turned off by pressing the switch twice. Note that automatic activation depends on impact severity and collision conditions.
