Mazda 3 Service Manual: Front Drain Hose Installation

Mazda 3 Service Manual / Body / Roof - Fixed, Leisure / Front Drain Hose Installation

CAUTION:

1. Apply soapy water to the front drain hose inserting area.

2. Insert one end (the wider end) of the front drain hose into the sunroof frame.

3. Install the front drain hose to the clips, parallel to the pillar and free of slack.

4. Insert the front drain hose joint into the hinge pillar inner hole.

5. Connect the auto-dimming mirror connector. (vehicles with auto-dimming mirror)

6. Install the following parts:

a. Headliner.

b. Assist handle.

c. Sunvisor.

d. Map light.

e. C-pillar trim.

f. Trunk side upper trim (5HB).

g. Tire house trim.

h. Rear seat cushion.

i. B-pillar upper trim.

j. Upper anchor of the front seat belt.

k. B-pillar lower trim.

l. Rear scuff plate.

m. A-pillar trim.

n. Sunroof seaming welt

o. Dashboard.

p. Windshield wiper motor.

q. Cowl grille.

r. Front fender molding.

s. Windshield wiper arm and blade.

t. A-pillar trim.

u. multi information display (with multi information display).

v. Information display (with information display).

w. Hole cover.

x. Dashboard upper panel.

y. Center cover.

z. Instrument cluster.

aa. Climate control unit.

ab. Audio unit.

ac. Center panel.

ad. Steering shaft.

ae. Joint cover.

af. Combination switch.

ag. Column cover.

ah. Steering wheel.

ai. Driver-side air bag module.

aj. Knee bolster.

ak. Lower panel.

al. Hood release lever from the lower panel.

7. Connect the rain sensor connector. (Vehicles with auto light / wiper system)

8. Install the rain sensor cover. (Vehicles with auto light / wiper system).

9. Install the seaming welt.

10. Connect the negative battery cable..

Deflector Removal/Installation
