Continuity Inspection
NOTE:
-
The up switch is built into the selector lever component.
1. Remove the battery cover..
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable..
3. Remove the console..
4. Disconnect the selector lever component connector.
5. Verify that the continuity between selector lever component terminals B and H.

If not as verified, replace the selector lever component..

1. Perform the following procedures.
a. Remove the battery cover..
b. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
c. Remove the console..
d. Disconnect the selector lever component connector.

2. Insert a tape-wrapped fastener remover into the service hole and pry with
the screwdriver in the direction shown by the arrow to remove the lens.
3. Remove the map light bulb.

Liftgate Lower Trim Removal/Installation
1. Remove the liftgate upper trim..
2. Remove the liftgate side trim..
3. Remove the screw and fasteners.
4. Pull the liftgate lower trim in the direction of arrow (1), (2), (3), then
detach clips A, B, pin C and D from the liftgate.
5. Remove the liftgate lower trim.

Bass Box Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable..
2. Disconnect the connector..
3. Verify the resistance between bass-box terminals.
If not within the specification, replace the bass-box.
