Subaru Solterra 2023-2026 Owner's Manual: Advanced Park
Function description
The Advanced Park system in the Subaru Solterra is designed to deliver a refined
and highly controlled parking experience by assisting the driver during both parking
and exiting maneuvers. Using a combination of sensors and cameras, the Subaru Solterra
provides a comprehensive bird’s-eye view of the surroundings, clearly visualizing
blind spots and the selected parking space. Through intuitive on-screen guidance
and audible alerts, the system supports steering, acceleration, braking, and even
shift position changes to help ensure smooth and precise vehicle positioning.
In addition, the panoramic view monitor* integrated into the Subaru Solterra
enhances situational awareness by displaying real-time views of the area in front
of, behind, and above the vehicle, allowing the driver to accurately assess obstacles
and spatial conditions during low-speed maneuvers.
When the Advanced Park function is activated, the Subaru Solterra automatically
engages the turn signal indicators throughout the parking process until the vehicle
reaches the intended parking position. This feature helps notify surrounding pedestrians
and drivers that automated parking is in progress, increasing safety in busy environments.
However, depending on external factors such as road surface conditions, vehicle
positioning, available space, or environmental limitations, the Subaru Solterra
may not always be able to complete parking assistance in the selected location.
Always verify surroundings before and during operation.
Advanced Park should be used strictly in compliance with applicable local traffic
laws and regulations.
*: For additional information about the panoramic view monitor, refer to the
"MULTIMEDIA OWNER'S MANUAL".
